Portable’s new signee Wiznurudeen Pleads for Mercy as Portable Faces Legal Storm Over Saheed Osupa Feud
In an emotionally charged turn of events, Wiznurudeen, a newly signed artist under controversial street-hop star Portable (Habeeb Okikilola), has captured the internet’s attention after breaking down in tears in a heartfelt video plea to Fuji legend Saheed Osupa.
The video, which quickly went viral, shows Wiznurudeen visibly shaken and emotional as he implores Saheed Osupa to forgive and withdraw the charges filed against Portable, who was recently arrested by the Kwara State Police Command.
Portable’s arrest, which took place in Abeokuta on Sunday, April 13, 2025, followed a petition by Saheed Osupa accusing him of criminal defamation, threats to life, incitement, character assassination, and using language likely to incite public unrest.
According to SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, spokesperson for the police command, an arrest warrant was issued by a magistrate court in Ilorin after the allegations were backed by what was described as compelling evidence.
Portable was taken into custody and transported to Ilorin for further investigation, with his statement recorded in the presence of legal counsel from both sides.
Wiznurudeen’s public appeal has triggered a wave of reactions online—some sympathizing with his raw emotion, others calling for accountability from Portable.
