Portable is threatening my life – Ex-manager, Ijoba Danku cries out for help
-
Ijoba Danku, Portable’s ex-manager, alleges the singer is threatening his life.
Former manager of controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola nicknamed Portable, Ijoba Danku, has raised the alert about a threat to his life.
He uploaded an audio clip of Portable purportedly threatening him over the phone and accused the artist of trying to end his life.
In a video circulating online, Danku and Portable were arguing about past and present differences and the exchange became heated.
The musician made some damning statements that frightened Danku so much that he had to share the audio call online as evidence.
The promoter made an appeal to Nigerians for assistance because he thinks the Zazuu star will follow through on his threat to attack him.
Ijoba also tagged the police and EFCC in his post so that they can take up the case and probably arrest Portable.
”I received a call around 8:45am this morning from @portablebaeby and has declared to kill me any moment from now, in case am no more na @portablebaeby don talk am now. He kept on threatening to kill me, make una hear make una know now o make una help me o. @nigeriapoliceforce @efccnigeria @confirmnewsng1 @tj_shetade”, he wrote.

This won’t be the first time Portable will be fighting with Danku.
In April 2022, Portable dismissed the services of Danku alongside his promoter and disc jockey.
In a video shared on social media Portable disclosed that he has sacked his crew members including his manager, DJ and show promoter over their constant demand for money and always wanting to restrict him from meeting people.
According to the Zazoo crooner, his manager, DJ, and the show promoter doesn’t contribute anything to the progress of his career, and he feels he’s being cheated out of his hard-earned cash because he is the one taking care of them.
However their issues seems to have escalated beyond any hope of resolution.
