Portable weeps bitterly amid legal battle with Ogun State government officials, Blames Spiritual Forces
Embattled street-hop singer Portable has broken down in tears amid his ongoing legal issues following allegations of assaulting government officials in Ogun State.
The controversial artist took to social media in an emotional display, pleading his innocence while suggesting that unseen spiritual forces were at play in his predicament.
According to reports, Portable and his associates allegedly attacked officials from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) at Odogwu Bar in Iyana Ilogbo, Ogun State.
The altercation led to the singer being declared wanted, with legal actions looming over him.
In a recently circulated video, the ‘Zazu‘ crooner was seen weeping bitterly while singing a soulful tune, appealing for divine intervention.
He sang: “The gods, please help me, answer them with fire; may my secrets be safe. As long as they can’t take this dream, I won’t be tempted by the devil. We are all sinners, and when a sinner knows his crime, he shouldn’t stay long on his knees. May my life be better by God’s grace.”
The video has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions from fans. While some sympathized with the singer, others dismissed his display as mere theatrics, accusing him of attempting to evade accountability.
As of now, authorities in Ogun State have yet to issue further updates regarding the case.
