Portable Rejects Boxing Rematch with Speed Darlington After ₦20M Gift from Burna Boy

Controversial Nigerian street-hop star Portable has firmly turned down a proposed boxing rematch with rapper Speed Darlington, revealing that Burna Boy had already blessed him with a whopping ₦20 million—eliminating the need for another round in the ring.
The outspoken artist made his stance clear in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), declaring that he has no interest in fighting Speedy again after their previous celebrity boxing match, which ended in Portable’s favor.
According to Portable, Darlington had approached him with a rematch offer backed by a cash incentive—but that door is now firmly shut. “Joy don come, Burna Boy na Odogwu. The money long… now I know. Burna Boy don send ₦20 million. I no rematch o,” he bragged.
He didn’t hold back, continuing:
“The ₦20 million you wanted to use for the rematch, Burna Boy has sent it already. Send it again if you want, I need the money, but I can’t rematch. Bring another person, not that fool. He’s a fool at 40.”
Dismissive of Speed Darlington’s attempt to reignite the boxing drama, Portable not only declined the challenge but also threw shade, calling Speedy out for embarrassing himself and seeking another shot.
With ₦20 million in hand and no intention of stepping back into the ring with Speedy, Portable seems to be enjoying his odogwu-sized payday—and moving on to the next headline.
