Portable campaigns for Accord Party, months after calling out APC over non-payment
-
Months after campaigning for APC, Portable joins Accord Party’s campaign.
Portable has joined the campaign team of the Accord Party in Oyo state, barely months after criticising the All Progressives Congress (APC) for not paying his fees.
Portable previously campaigned for APC governorship candidate in Osun, Gboyega Oyetola, six months ago.
When he proclaimed his support for Oyetola and Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, the Zazuu star sparked uproar.
He and the musician Davido got into a disagreement over their different choices, which led to a conflict that lasted for months.
In July 2022 Portable accused the APC of misleading him and failing to pay as promised, despite his delivery.
Fast-forward to 2023, Portable has now been spotted campaigning for Accord Party in Oyo state ahead of the general elections.
He hopped on the campaign train of Shina Peller, a House of Representatives member seeking reelection in Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Oyo.

In the meantime, Portable has warned prominent music video director TG Omori not to come to Sango and Lekki if he fails to shoot his music video for him.
Portable stated this during an Instagram live session with the music video director, who had previously charged him $50k (22.6M) for the Apostle music video shoot.
TG Omori has been called out on many occasions by the “Zazoo Zeh” crooner, who has also asked if he has been shooting for ritualists.
In a scathing response to Portable’s constant calling him out, TG Omori tweeted that he understood why the singer was doing it because he knew he might never have a video better than Zazoo Zeh.
He requested Portable to bring him a song so he could make the video, but he did not say whether it would be free or if he would waive the $50,000 price.
In response to the proposal, the pair started an Instagram live session. As he begged for the director’s help, Portable bemoaned the costly fees TG Omori demanded and questioned the director’s lack of love for him.
He then jokingly warned TG Omori not to travel to Lekki or Sango for fear for his safety because a fight would likely break out if they meet.
