Nigerian street-hop sensation Portable has again set the internet ablaze with his bold remarks, this time targeting fellow artists Zlatan and Runtown.

During a recent interview on Echo Room, Portable dismissed Zlatan’s industry relevance, claiming influential figures do not widely recognize him.
He recounted a conversation with a car dealer friend who advised him against engaging in any dispute with Zlatan, insisting that the rapper was only seeking clout.
“Zlatan is still an up-and-coming artist,” Portable declared. “A wealthy friend told me not to respond to him because he just started hearing his name and doesn’t even know his songs.”
Portable didn’t stop there—he also took a jab at Zlatan’s music style, questioning its depth and appeal.

In another discussion with Quincy Jonze, Portable addressed comments made by TikTok personality Peller, who had previously referred to Runtown as an “upcoming artist.” While Portable disagreed with Peller’s remark, he also questioned why Runtown has been absent from the mainstream scene.
“I don’t support what Peller said, but I also don’t understand Runtown. Why is he not releasing hits anymore?” Portable asked.
The Zazoo Zeh crooner then extended an offer to Runtown, suggesting that collaborating with him could revive his career.
“Tell him to feature me, give me a verse, and he will blow again. Work hard, bro, if you don’t want people to forget you,” he added.
Portable’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions online—while some see it as his usual antics for attention, others question his credibility to downplay artists with established careers.
