“Nobody above dragging” – Portable slams his wife Bewaji for excluding him from her birthday message to herself
Once again, Nigerian artist Portable is making headlines, this time for calling out his wife, Bewaji Ewatomi, for omitting him from her birthday message to herself.
This incident follows shortly after Portable, known for his hit track “Zazoo Zeh,” publicly criticized the late Alaafin’s wife for declining to have his child.
On April 19, 2024, Bewaji Ewatomi celebrated her birthday, sharing a heartfelt message on her official Instagram page.
Celebrating her birthday with stunning photos, Ewatomi Bewaji wrote; “Happy birthday to me. “Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and unforgettable moments. I wish myself a very happy birthday 🎉🎊.
May this birthday 🥳 become one of the best birthdays of my life! Wishing my self a great 👍 birthday celebration 🍾 filled with all the love 🤍, joy 🤩 and blessings in the world 🌎. I feel so favored to be happy,healthy, and alive today.😒🫢🍾.”

In a separate birthday post, Bewaji proudly declares herself as the queen of her own life, expressing gratitude for her journey and personal growth. However, this sentiment didn’t sit well with Portable, who responded by publicly criticizing her on her special day.
Bewaji wrote; “Still my day ( THE QUEEN OF HERSELF) I am grateful 🥲 for the incredible journey of the life and the person I have become. On this special day.🫢 ( I LOVE 🤍 EVERYTHING ABOUT ME).😒✌️.”
In response to Bewaji’s post, singer Portable expressed his displeasure at her referring to herself as the “Queen of herself” instead of acknowledging her role as the Queen of Portable.
Fuming with frustration, Portable urged his wife to calm down, questioning why she would label herself in such a manner. He emphasized that he plays a significant role in shaping Bewaji’s identity and success, insisting that she should show him the respect he deserves.
Portable wrote; “Queen of your self?????, Sha calm down make them no use you get me 🦅🦅🦅🦅, I don’t understand why you call yourself queen of yourself, Try to dey appreciate who appreciate you.”
He added; “The family I come from we don’t take shit. If them dey call you strong woman na me make you strong if I dey respect you make you self respect yourself.”
