Portable records praise song for Tinubu, shades Peter Obi.
Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, entered the recording studio to create a song regarding the results of the 2023 presidential election, praising the President-elect, Tinubu and shading his contender, Peter Obi.
He centred the lyrics of his song on Peter Obi, a co-candidate for president of the Labour Party, and the president-elect Tinubu, who sought for office under the All Progressives Congress.
Portable, who shared a preview of the song on Instagram, labelled Obi as a boy and highlighted Tinubu’s nickname, Jagaban, portraying him as a father.
Fans expressed outrage after seeing a video of the Zazuu star performing in a studio that had circulated online.
He shared the video on his Instagram page, and captioned; “Obi is a boy ???? Jagaban Na Person Father Ashiwaju Na Boss ⭐️???????????????? Eyin Omo YORUBA it’s another 30years again that we always denied our own Father brother and son I hope we break the course this year Nibo Wontobe Ashiwaju leader of the leaders ✌️Wahala Wahala Wahala ????????????”
