Portable, who recently faced health challenges and was hospitalized, took to social media to respond to an interview given by his fourth wife, Ashabi. In the interview with Biola Bayo, Ashabi revealed that she was aware of Portable having multiple wives and expressed her willingness to stand by him despite his past. She commended Portable as a responsible man who took care of her well.
In response, Portable shared a video on social media expressing his dissatisfaction with the interview, stating that he found it disrespectful to his first wife, Bewaji. In Yoruba, he explained that having multiple wives was a decision made out of responsibility, as he wanted to ensure he didn’t abandon the mothers of his children.
However, he emphasized that it didn’t give Ashabi the right to discuss such matters in a public interview. Portable expected her to be more discreet and not disclose personal details in a public forum.
Additionally, it was revealed that Portable is gearing up to release a new single with Skepta, a prominent London rapper. Skepta had flown Portable to London earlier in 2024 for the British Fashion Awards, and this collaboration signals an exciting musical venture for Portable.
