Portable responds to Davido’s subtle diss with new song, Invites Him to Perform at Odogwu Bar

Controversial street-hop sensation Portable has once again grabbed the spotlight following a renewed clash with Afrobeats heavyweight Davido.
The latest twist in their ongoing feud unfolded after Davido appeared to throw shade during a response to an online troll.
The singer had clapped back at an X (formerly Twitter) user who mocked his family’s repeated use of the same private jet, replying with the phrase “All these Odogwu Bar settings”—a comment that many interpreted as a thinly veiled jab at Portable’s lounge, Odogwu Bar, located in Ogun State.
In his characteristic fashion, Portable refused to let the remark slide. He initially shared a throwback photo of himself with Davido, subtly reminding fans that there was once mutual respect between them. But the Zazoo Zeh crooner didn’t stop there.
Taking to Instagram, Portable posted a video of himself performing a freshly composed song that directly addressed the situation. Rather than trade insults, he delivered a tongue-in-cheek response, embracing the moment and seizing the opportunity to promote his brand.
“Nothing concern me if Davido make fun of my bar, I’m only chasing money. If he wants, he can come perform at Odogwu Bar and give me money,” he sang in the clip.
The playful yet pointed lyrics have since gone viral, sparking debate among fans online. While some praised Portable’s ability to turn controversy into content, others speculated whether the feud may escalate further.
This is not the first time the two artists have made headlines over personal differences. Still, Portable’s latest approach—mixing humour with business savvy—has added a fresh dimension to their public rivalry.
As the back-and-forth continues, fans are left wondering whether Davido will respond again or let Portable’s musical invitation pass in silence.
