Controversial street-pop star Portable, born Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, has reacted to the ₦50 million boxing challenge thrown into the mix by music executive Soso Soberekon.

The offer was made publicly during Carter Efe and Peller’s recent visit to the home of billionaire businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money.
In a video now circulating online, Soberekon declared he was ready to put ₦50 million “on the table” if Carter agreed to step into the ring with Portable.
When asked if he was willing to face the Zazoo crooner, Carter reportedly responded confidently, saying he would make sure Portable doesn’t leave the ring standing.
But Portable, never one to shy away from drama, has made it clear that ₦50 million won’t cut it.

In a fresh video response, the singer dismissed the offer as too small, insisting he has bigger terms before he would agree to lace up his gloves. According to him, it’s not just about pride, the price must be right.
Portable demanded an additional luxury car worth ₦300 million, raising the total package to ₦350 million before he would consider the fight. He also boasted about his previous celebrity boxing victories as proof that he means business.
“Soso, N50 million is too little. Give me N50 million plus a car worth N300 million, totaling N350 million and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly. I am the same guy who beat Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington,” he stated.
With Carter already signalling interest and Portable setting fresh conditions, fans are now watching closely to see if the celebrity showdown will move from social media banter to an actual boxing ring. In Nigeria’s entertainment scene, one thing is certain: when Portable is involved, there’s never a dull moment.
“Soso, 50 million naira is too little. Give me 50 million naira plus a car worth ₦300 million totaling ₦350 million and I’ll b3&7 Carter Efe mercilessly. I’m the same guy who b3&7 Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.”
