Portable criticizes GheGhe’s teachings, references King Solomon and 700 wives

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, better known as Portable, has taken a swipe at social media influencer GheGhe and his followers while referencing the biblical King Solomon and his famed 700 wives.
The drama stems from GheGhe’s recent “School of Wisdom” lectures, where he repeatedly advises young men never to spend money on women, branding such acts as a wasteful investment.
His teachings, which attract youths eager to learn about relationships, have stirred heated reactions online.
Joining the conversation, Portable dismissed GheGhe’s ideology, stressing that generosity towards women is essential. Using King Solomon as an example, he argued that the biblical figure could not have sustained 700 wives without providing for them.
In a viral video, the Zazuu crooner ridiculed GheGhe’s stance:
“GheGhe, you’re stingy, you’re broke. What did King Solomon give 700 women? You think he didn’t spend money before they followed him?”
He further stated that he would never attend GheGhe’s so-called school, warning that it could leave men poor, lonely, and frustrated. Portable also mocked GheGhe’s appearance, claiming even his personal hygiene was questionable, while cautioning his students that they were being misled.
The singer added:
“I have a wife; I don’t want to end up broke or lonely like you. Even your boxer is dirty. How do you expect women to take you seriously if you can’t provide basic things for them?”
The video sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians trooping to the comment section to either defend GheGhe’s teachings or applaud Portable for his blunt criticism.
