Portable cries out after American embassy denied him visa

Portable wails after being denied a visa by the American consulate.
Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed disappointment after the American embassy rejected his visa application.
He called out a show promoter who made arrangements for him to attend an event in US and paid him N3 million upfront.
According to Portable, the event organiser set him up and stopped his application from being approved.
On the day of his interview, he claimed that the person dispatched ten additional individuals to the embassy and told them that Portable is their boss.
The singer was upset that the 11 of them who were sent by the show promoter had their visas all denied, so he took to social media to express his outrage.
Portable further disclosed that due to the fact he could no longer attend the show, the organisers are demanding N20 million for damages.
He accused the promoter of trying to ruin his career and rip him off with the well planned sabotage.

In a video making the rounds online, he narrated how a letter was sent to his family home and it was stated that he would be expected to pay N2m every month till the N20 million has been paid in full.
Portable said a new friend promised to help him get US Visa and take him to America. But the Entertainment label which his ex-manager and promoter singed a deal with, instisted that he has to pay 12 Million Naira before they can let go of the old contract.
The 28-year-old accepted and bargained to pay in Instalment. According to him, he has paid N2 Million twice and can’t afford to continue with the N12M payment.
The singer added that the international label are requesting for 20 billion Naira as damages fees before they can write off the contract that will make him travel to U.S.A without issues.
