Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable took to the streets to show his love for his community after successfully fulfilling the terms of his bail and being released.
On Monday evening, he was released on bail after being detained in court for assaulting police officers who attempted to arrest him.
By the court’s orders, Portable was previously brought to the Ilaro Correctional Center in the Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.
You may recall that he was charged with five counts of assault-related offences in the courtroom presided over by Chief Magistrate A.S. Shoneye.
Nonetheless, Portable entered a not guilty plea to the accusations.
The presiding judge declared that the offences are bailable and granted him bail with two sureties who had to live within the court’s territorial jurisdiction and bail bonds of N300,000 and N500,000.
A trial date of April 26 was set for the case.
