Portable scared, withdraws statements on APC campaign, link with ‘One Million Boys’
Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has denied any involvement with two criminal groups, “Ajah Boys” and “One Million Boys,” who terrorised Lagos citizens during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
The controversial performer claimed to be the brains behind the occult groups One Million Boys and Ajah Boys in the early hours of Monday.
The cult group “One Million Boys” gained notoriety for terrorising locals in several areas of Lagos state in the past.
Usman Alkali Baba, the inspector general of police (IGP), had asked Lagos’s chief of police, Abiodun Alabi, to look into the singer’s assertion.
In the wake of the controversy trailing his claim, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner took to his Instagram to clarify what he meant.
He wrote:
“Clearing the air on this! Zazu!! This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC.
“ It was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money.
“And what I meant by 1 million boys is 1 million followers. People are threatening my life ooo you should all look into this. I GO BY THE NAME PORTABLE OMOLALOMI, I DO MUSIC FOR LIVING.”
The singer also claimed that he never knew he would be campaigning for Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Osun governorship election.
Portable said he was originally told he was to perform at a show but later found out it was a campaign rally.

He added that he is a fan of both Oyetola and Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC it was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money,” he added.
In another statement, he wrote;
“We appeal to the general public to stay calm as portable doesn’t know anything about one million boys he is only referring to one million fans and we all know he is a cruise master and we trust the Nigerian police force will do their investigations properly in agreement to what has been said thanks to all Zazu fans all over the world”
