Crowds storm popular street artist Portable and his wife in public as they celebrate his first year as a royal chief in Ota, Ogun state.
Fans surrounded the controversial music artist and his wife, Ewatomi, as they stepped out in style. Because of his rapid development in the music industry, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu land in Ota bestowed a chieftaincy title on him a year ago. ‘Amuludun of Tigbo Land’ was bestowed upon him.
Portable is renowned for his incisive speech and outspoken ideas. He has won the hearts of the streets with his distinctive music, most of which draws influence from his personal experiences.
He and his wife were serenaded by well-known Ibadan Fuji artist Taye Currency as they celebrated his new title.

In other news, Portable has told the story of how he met his first wife, Bewaji Ewatomi, and showers her with love.
On the popular The Honest Bunch podcast, the controversial singer revealed that Bewaji had taken the place of his first wife, who he claimed had let him down.
According to him, she stood by him while he was hustling and used to send him money on occasion. He also added that she was initially a daughter to him, and was the only one who believed in him before he became famous so he married her.
And according to his accounts, she did all that to secure her future with him. “That time wey dem talk say I dey mad, na only she talk say ‘no, he no mad,” he said.
