Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, better known as Portable, has publicly appealed to his wife, Bewaji, asking for forgiveness following what he described as a “baby mama drama.”
In a video that has since gone viral online, the singer openly declared his intention to return home to his wife. Speaking directly to the camera, Portable called on his fans to help beg Bewaji on his behalf, claiming that he was not in his right senses at the time of the controversy.
“Please, everyone should help me beg Bewaji not to be angry with me. Her husband is back to her. All the jazz that the other lady used on me is over,” he stated.
Doubling down on his plea, Portable went on to emphasise that Bewaji is his only legally recognised wife. According to him, the other women linked to him are not his wives but mothers of his children.
“She is my legal wife and I can’t marry any other lady. The rest are baby mamas,” he added.
The emotional apology has sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users sharing their thoughts on the singer’s latest personal drama and his public attempt at reconciliation.
