A new video circulating online suggests that controversial singer Portable and skit maker-turned-musician Carter Efe have put their recent clash behind them after the matter reportedly reached the police.

The clip, which has been making rounds on social media, shows Portable in a calmer mood alongside Carter Efe, Kolu, and a few others, indicating that the tension that erupted earlier had been resolved.

In the video, Portable revealed that everyone involved had been released, adding that a man identified as “Ija Omode” played a key role in settling the issue.

The reconciliation comes shortly after a dramatic confrontation at Portable’s Sango-based bar. During the earlier incident, the singer blocked Carter Efe, Kolu, and their team from leaving the venue, accusing them of showing up unannounced. Portable had insisted that before joining any streaming session with them, they would need to pay him first.

Matters escalated when Portable alleged that Carter Efe arrived with soldiers who began shooting sporadically in the area, prompting him to call the police for intervention and arrests. The chaotic encounter quickly spread across social media, sparking debates among fans.

Despite the apparent truce, Portable did not hold back some lingering frustrations. He described Kolu as ungrateful for allegedly leaving his label to work with Carter Efe. The singer also took a jab at Kolu’s reported girlfriend, Chidinma, said to be the ex-girlfriend of “10 Naira” suggesting that financial status often influences relationships. According to Portable, if Kolu did not have money, the relationship might not have existed.

In a lighter moment captured in the video, Portable joked about Carter Efe’s experience during the ordeal, saying, “Carter Efe don scream for police station.”

When Carter Efe then asked about the possibility of a future streaming session, Portable responded playfully, “We are screaming the day we engage in a celebrity boxing match.”

The video has since drawn mixed reactions online, with fans amused by the unexpected reconciliation and the humorous exchange that followed the earlier drama.
