It would be recalled that the Nigerian comedian turned artist, Carterefe seems to have switched camp from Wizkid to Davido as he recently begged the latter for a collaboration.
Carter had just dropped his much-anticipated single Oluchi, and he believed the song needed a remix featuring Davido’s influence.
The content creator proceeded to Twitter to make the announcement in which he tagged Omo Baba Olowo and begged the DMW chairman to bless him with a verse.
Meanwhile, Davido Adeleke, a legendary Afrobeat performer, discusses his improved relationship with Wizkid and announces their joint concert tour.
It may be recalled that Wizkid once announced plans to tour with David Adeleke, which sparked criticism.
In a recent interview, Davido confirmed that he would in fact be joining the Ojuelegba singer on a concert tour. However, he did say that it might happen the subsequent year rather than this one.
He went on to discuss their connection in more detail, saying that Wizkid has always been supportive and kept in touch with him on a weekly basis.
“Yeah, I think probably … we’re in the talk. I think next year because I have to do my tour first; this Timeless album. I think by next year, I and Wizkid will do a record together. Shout out to my brother, he calls me literally every week to check up on me,” he stated.
