Police reportedly detain Davido’s domestic employees in connection with his son’s death.
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all of Davido’s domestic staff workers are currently being held in custody following the death of the singer’s child, Ifeanyi.
On Tuesday morning, when news of Ifeanyi’s death went viral, the command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to DAILY POST.
The DMW founder and his fiancée Chioma Rowland were not at home when the youngster drowned in a pool at his father’s Banana Island home on Monday.
The Lagos PPRO stated in an interaction with DAILY POST about the tragic occurrence that a preliminary inquiry is presently underway to determine what caused the boy’s death.
He said, “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.
