Tiwa Savage confirms Kidnap attempt made on her, Police apprehend 4 suspects involved.
According to the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department in Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, some people have been arrested in connection with the purported kidnapping attempt on Tiwa Savage.
This was confirmed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Lagos by the department’s spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi.
Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that the news of the attempt to kidnap the musician broke out on Friday through social media.
According to the reports, the musician was protected from the suspects by her private protection and the Nigerian police.
It learned that Savage’s new domestic employees, who had been given access to crucial information about her, reportedly orchestrated the unsuccessful plot.
”Yes, we have some suspects, they are in our custody. They are about four,” the spokesperson said.
According to sources, the singer was being followed by the domestic staff as she left her house, and they were sharing this information with other alleged kidnapping gang members.
Tiwa Savage herself has acknowledged that burglars broke into her home.
On April 14, 2023, Tiwa Savage announced on her Instagram page that burglars had broken into her house.
According to the press release, the “Somebody’s son” crooner and her family are secure, and some of the perpetrators have been detained and are being held at the Alagbon Police Station in Ikoyi pending more investigation.
