Pheelz Reveals How French Montana Reached Out To Him For ‘Finesse (Remix)’
Phillip Kayode Moses, also known as Pheelz, has explained how he came to collaborate with Moroccan-American heavyweight rapper French Montana on the remix of his smash single ‘Finesse.’
Basking in the success of earlier singles like “Finesse,” which featured BNXN (a.k.a. Buju), and “Electricity,” which featured Davido, Pheelz just released two new tracks: “Ballin” and the much anticipated “Finesse Remix,” which has been performing well on digital music platforms.
Gucci and Gigi of COOLFM had the talented singer and producer on the Roadshow for the first time and they had an interesting conversation about his career as a singer and other stuff.
“Do you think Finesse is the song of the summer?” Gucci asked the producer.
Most artists will go all gun blazing chanting how big the BNXN-assisted record is, but the “Electricity” crooner didn’t care about that, according to the singer he doesn’t care about competitions; he just wants to create “timeless music”.

“To be very honest, I don’t care if Finesse is the song of the year,” Pheelz responds to Gucci’s question explaining how grateful he is for the inspiration of the viral song “Finesse”.
Speaking about how the remix came about, The producer-turned-singer revealed that French Montana got in touch with him via Instagram DM to let him know how much of a fan he is and to express his desire to work with Pheelz.
Pheelz went on to say that they had worked on a couple of songs before deciding to experiment with Finesse, which resulted in the remix.
