Nigerian record producer and singer, Phillip Kayode Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, has dubbed himself “one of the greatest musicians” the country has ever produced.
The “Finesse” hitmaker made this claim while appearing as a guest on a recent edition of the audiovisual podcast F&S Uncensored, which is presented by Simi Badiru and Feyikemi Akin-Bankole.
He claims that the only reason most people do not acknowledge him as one of the best artists in Nigeria, the African continent, and the globe is that they have selective amnesia.
He said, “Sometimes I feel like we have selective amnesia in the [music] industry. I’m not even proud, but it is fact; I’m one of the greatest musicians that Nigeria has ever seen, Africa has ever seen, and the world has ever seen.
“I have made so many classics. A lot!,”.
Pheelz also referred to himself as one of the best Afrobeat producers in history.
Recall, The singer revealed that Omah Lay was also featured on his song ‘Finesse’ with BNXN, but he later removed his part because the release date clashed with the release of Omah Lay’s song ‘Attention’ with Justin Bieber.
In addition, He said he has upcoming collaborations with Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Phyno and Olamide.
