Nigerian record producer Pheelz and Mavin Princess Ayra Starr have continued to push the envelope as they get nominated for the upcoming BET Awards.
Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that The organizers of the BET Awards have announced the full list of nominees ahead of the event scheduled to take place on the 27th of June 2022 at 1 a.m. West Africa Time.
Pheelz and Gen Z pop star Ayra Starr have both achieved a new milestone by receiving their first BET Awards nomination in the category of Best New International Act.

The Best New International Act category, also known as the Viewer’s Choice Best New International Act award, will be presented on June 27th during the BET awards, which include nominees such as Tems, Fireboy DML, and Wizkid.
While Ayra Starr and Pheelz will be making their Black Entertainment Awards debut, Rema, Tems, and Teni have previously represented Nigeria in the Best New International Act category.
The two acts will face Cleo Sol and Digga D from the United Kingdom, Guy2Bezbar and SDM from France, and Young Stunna from South Africa.
