Peruzzi threatens to sue social media user over doctored tweet despite apology

Nigerian musician Peruzzi is planning to sue a man after his altered tweet sparked an uproar on Twitter.

On Wednesday, Peruzzi disassociated himself from the widely shared post that originated from his page and was shared as a deleted screenshot.
“You no go fold keh,” he had cryptically warned the creator @belikebaddy, who had shared the screenshot on Twitter.
After rebutting, the graphic designer apologized to Davido and the well-known artist on Thursday and made a vow not to do it again.
“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involved @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions have caused, and I promise it’ll never happen again. My apologies to DMW Management,” he wrote.
