Nigerian Afrobeat singer Tobechukwu Victor Okolie, known as Peruzzi has shared a message he received from a stranded student in Morocco who begged him for financial assistance.
Peruzzi was told by the young man known as Yung Majoor that he had been sent on a government-sponsored scholarship but that they had been left behind.
According to the student, the Nigerian government promised to take care of their accommodation and feeding but on reaching Morocco, the story changed and they were left to their fate.
He begged the musician to give him some cash because they are barely getting by and needed it for food and rent.

he wrote:
”Hello Sir.. Good day.. I’m a Nigerian Student schooling in Morocco..We were brought here in the name of scholarship but we are abloned sir.. The Nigerian government said they would take care of our accommodation, feeding and all only for us to get here and it’s different.. We barely survive sir.. No food, No rent.. I dont go online begging for help but i just have to because I’m stranded..I need to pay my rent and buy food..Please nothing is too small sir.. Good bless you.. ”
In response, the DMW artiste said that he can only send money on the condition that he would use it to travel back to Nigeria so that he can receive five strokes of the cane.
The Majesty crooner berated him for trusting the government and said that he deserves eight strokes of the cane. He wrote;
