‘Life is short’ – Paul O calls for unity among Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy
Renowned talent manager and promoter Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paul O, has made a heartfelt plea for reconciliation among Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the 57-year-old CEO of Upfront and Personal Global Management urged the trio to embrace unity as 2024 draws to a close and 2025 approaches. Paul O highlighted their immense individual successes, emphasizing that their collective power could further inspire Africa and the world.
This call for peace comes amid ongoing tensions. Burna Boy recently shared a post that many interpreted as a subtle jab at Davido, and earlier in the year, Wizkid made headlines for a series of critical posts on X targeting Davido, his associates, and even some family members. Notably, Davido has refrained from responding publicly to the controversies.
Paul O’s impassioned message reads:
“Dear Wizkid!!! Davido!!! Burna Boy. As 2024 comes to an end, I wish for unity and brotherhood among three Afrobeat legends: Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
Life is short, and God has blessed you guys abundantly. I pray they remember their humble beginnings and forgive past differences. United, they inspire Africa and the world with their hard work and talent.
Let’s see a united 2025! I love you guys! Star Boy Wizzy, Baddest OBO, and Odogwu African Giant. You 3 are billionaires and have the power to do anything in this world!”
Fans and industry insiders alike have lauded Paul O’s efforts, hoping that his call for unity will resonate with the artists and lead to a harmonious future for Afrobeats’ brightest stars.
