Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking has revealed why he has not been signed to any record label.
The “Abule” crooner admitted that he hasn’t been signed to a record label due to time constraints during an interview with legendary presenter Andy Dosty for Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz program.

He means to say that time has been the only barrier between him and any record label that plans on inking a contract with him to aid him in his music-related works.
The singer also said that he has deferred signing with a record label for the time being because he does not want any outside force to stifle his creative freedom.
He said:
“The reason I have not been signed by any label is basically time. I do not want another to tamper with my creative freedom“
