Nigerian Afrobeat singer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie better known by his stage name Patoranking has revealed the year he got his first breakthrough in the music industry after 120 collaborations.
The reggae-dancehall has revealed that he got his first breakthrough in music in 2013 when he was an underground musician.
Speaking on the Daybreak Hitz segment with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Patorabking revealed that his first breakthrough as a musician came to him in 2013.

He revealed that he had his first breakthrough after doing 120 collaborations with other musicians when he was still an underground musician struggling to the top.
He said:
I got my first breakthrough in 2013 after 120 collaborations as an underground artist,
He also disclosed that before entering the music industry, he began his career as an entertainer by dancing.
I started as a dancer before pitching my tent to singing, he told Andy Dosty on the show.
He also mentioned how he had told his friends and family that he would be the one to end the cycle of poverty in his family, but only a few of them had listened to him. Patoranking is still one of Africa’s most popular musicians today.
