“Yima Ayu” better known by his stage name “PAPI”, is a Rapper, singer/songwriter, record producer and audio engineer from Benue, Nigeria.
‘Papi’ started composing playful songs at the age of six, not known to him that he will later pursue a career in music.
Having completed his education as an audio engineer at the prestigious SAE institute in London with the likes of L. Marshall, He decided to move back to Abuja, Nigeria to further his career in music.
He has worked with a few local acts, producing, mixing and mastering from the likes of Isick and Fo. Also, he has shared the stage with artists such as, Mish, Tekno, Eva Alordiah and Isick, he’s currently working with Omawumi.
He presents his new single tittled “Whine Am” (Produced by Papi) with a video which will be debuted in the new year.”
