Oxlade Speaks On Getting Co-signed By Drake.

The singer made this known while speaking with a media personality on the British radio network, Capital Xtra.
The Nigerian fast-rising act, Oxlade, has spoken about the moment Drake recognised and acknowledged his artistry, ergo co-signed him and shared his sentiments on the moment.
The singer expresses how the universe is still conspiring in Oxlade’s favour to turn him into the superstar he was always destined to be.
Speaking with a media personality on the British radio network, Capital Xtra, Oxlade discussed about the time Drake posted him during the Covid-19 Pandemic and how it helped him rediscover his love for music.
Oxlade said; Having seen Drake’s post that, just made me understand, it’s still your time”

According to Oxlade, the pandemic hampered the release of his Away single, and he felt defeated, but that was one of the distinct God-ordained moments that helped him stop second-guessing himself.
Drake shared a screenshot of Oxlade’s Away playing on Apple Music on Instagram Stories back in November 2020.
The Kulosa hitmaker later revealed that he had received 3 million streams as a result of Drake’s single action. The lead track from Oxlade’s debut EP, Oxygene, which was released in March 2020, was titled “Away.”
