Fast-rising star, Oxlade expressed his disappointment after being arrested by the police for no reason.

A Bolt Driver by the name Tope tagged popular OAP, Dotun informing him of Oxlade being arrested. According to the driver, he picked Oxlade up but was stopped by police on the grounds of “Stop and Search” leading to Oxlade’s arrest.

Oxlade minutes later came on Twitter saying that he has been released. The “Away” singer said that the police officers who searched him entered his Whatsapp conversation to search for the words “Dollars” and “Transaction”.

Oxlade said that Police Officers need proper Education on policing, adding that one can’t be scared of Thieves and still be scared of Police too.

He accused the Police force hates young people doing well, adding that they prefer them to be looking tattered.
