Oxlade Lands a Record Deal with a Major International Label
Oxlade, a Nigerian new-age music sensation, has signed a deal with Epic Records, an American record label owned by Sony Entertainment.
The talented singer ends his run as an independent artist with the American A-list record label, Epic Records.
The record company confirmed the news via a Twitter post on their page, which included a brief video introducing Oxlade and hinting at a new track on the way.
On March 9th, the video was released, and Oxlade was also welcomed by Columbia Records, an American record company owned by Sony Music and a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America.
Epic Records, which was formed by Columbia Records, is home to international superstars such as Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, 21 Savage, Future, Mariah Carey, Bobby Shmurda, and many others.
Oxlade’s forthcoming single under Epic Records “Want You” is set to be released on the 18th of March.
This good news is coming weeks after the singer’s s*x tape was leaked online and went viral forcing him to take an impromptu social media break.

He later broke his silence on the case, apologizing to the lady in the video for putting her through a lot.
