Oritse Femi released the Music video, to his song, Obey” in April and a twitter user called viewers’ attention to a scene in the video.

The scene the Twitter user pointed out was a scene where a woman is being flogged by some police officers.

The clip was from an incident that happened earlier this year where a woman was brutalized by the police in Iwo, Ogun state.

The woman who goes by the name Tola Azeez took to Twitter to slam Oritse Femi for using her video to encourage police brutality.

Another Twitter user by the name Oluyemi Fasipe wrote that he contacted Oritse Femi through a friend concerning the video but the singer wasn’t cooperative and therefore legal actions would be taken against him.

I also tried reaching out via his Instagram and email. No reply, nothing. How does he think I feel I ask again. How does he want my children to feel? He clearly was justifying what happened to me. No human or even animals should be subjected to that kind of brutality.
