Popular Nigerian singer, Omawumi has collaborated with talented Cameroon-born singer, Wax Dey to deliver this amazing new single titled Forever.
Both artistes, Omawumi and Wax Dey were part of the historic hit, Cocoa na Chocolate featuring 19 artistes across Africa including D’Banj, Femi Kuti and Kunle Ayo.This highly melodious new song has Wax Dey and Omawumi’s voice lilt and swing over the drum-heavy beat. It is definitely a song for everybody.
We can definitely call this collaboration the best of two worlds. Omawumi is arguably the biggest female artiste in Nigeria and she definitely needs little or no introduction across board. Also, Wax Dey who was nominated for Best Male Artist, Best R&B and Best International Collaboration at the Cameroon Entertainment Awards had his popular hit, ‘Miss Real, Mr Regular’ remixed by local South-African rappers and House Djs appearing on SONY Music’s 2010 ONE AFRICA All Stars and several other top compilations.
Wax Dey will also be working with D’Banj’s DB Records in the nearest future as talks are in the concluding stage. He has recently been working with DB Records in Nigeria.”
