Omah Lay’s team responds to reports of a dispute between the singer and Burna Boy.
The management of Omah Lay has rejected claims of a conflict between the singer and Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy stating that there was never a misunderstanding between both artists and that Omah’s post on his stories was just for laughs.
Omah Lay recently stated that he will remove Burna Boy from the album when a fan inquired whether the 30-year-old was still on the album.
“E dey but I go remove am,” Omah Lay replied
His response sparked reactions on social media, causing fans to wonder whether the music artists were beefing, others speculated that it was due to the shooting involving Burna Boy’s police escorts.

However, according to TheCable Lifestyle on Wednesday, a source from Omah Lay’s team said the singer was joking about dropping the African Giant from the album.
“There was never a misunderstanding between the both of them. Omah’s post on his stories was just for laughs,” the source said.

The singer’s debut album Boy Alone is set to drop on June 24.
However, Omah Lay had, on Monday in a tweet suggested some undisclosed issues were delaying his album release and he’s not happy about it.
