What seemed like a cool day for Timaya to share his thoughts on the Odi massacre of 1999 turned out to be one with a long dragging rope from netizens.
The singer, who was already prepping for his dragging day got his fair share of the icing as netizens questioned his moral values.
Timaya had earlier performed at the presidential inauguration, where he sang the buzzing “as he dey sweet us, e dey pain dem.”
This did not go well with many social media users as they assumed him to be high in moral values and not associate with the present government administration in whatever form.
Of course, those who have had the singer in mind found today a worthy day to unleash their demons on him

The Odi massacre was a genocide carried out by the Nigerian military forces against the Ijaw people in Odi, Bayelsa State in 1999.
