The rapper made this known in an interview with Adesope Olajide.
Nigerian Afrobeat singers really have a close relationship that stands the test of time. Olamide has revealed the song that made him love and becomes a fan of Wizkid.
It is often said that the internet never forgets, and this is proven yet again as an old video of Olamide being interviewed by media personality Adesope Olajide resurfaces.
The video does not report divisive news, but rather on a relationship that has aged well, as Baddo shared with the host the one song that made him take notice of Wizkid and realize he enjoyed his music.
Olamide was seen in the video, which is at least 6 years old, saying he’d been feeling Big Wiz since hearing him on Jesse Jagz’s Intoxicated, which featured Wizkid and Soul-E.

The rapper had burst into the Wizkid rendered chorus and said; “I fell in love with Wizkid right from that track. When I heard it I was like ‘men, I gotta work with this guy.’
According to Olamide, he told ID Cabasa about his desire to work with Starboy at the time, and the beats he created for a song for his Rapsodi album ended up being the beats for their first collaboration, “Omo To Shan.”
Since then, the two talented acts have collaborated on three additional tracks, Confam Ni, Kana, and Totori, and have developed themselves as musical powerhouses in their respective genres.
