Renowned Nigerian singer Olamide has issued a public apology to actor Jigan Babaoja after the actor threatened to take legal action against him for making fun of his disability.
Olamide had posted a video on his social media in which he sang a line from Asake’s song “2:30” that referenced Jigan Babaoja’s disability. Jigan Babaoja, in response, shared the video on his own social media while expressing his intention to sue Olamide if his concerns were not addressed.

He acknowledged the insensitivity of his actions and expressed regret for causing any hurt to Jigan Babaoja. Olamide also affirmed that he respects and holds the actor in high regard.
Actor Jigan Babaoja stated that he expects a financial settlement from singer Olamide for making jokes about his disability, or else they will have to resolve the matter in a court of law.
