Odumodublvck reveals why his colleagues are envious of him

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, has stirred conversation once again, this time claiming that some of his industry colleagues are secretly envious of his success.

The outspoken rapper didn’t mince words as he addressed critics who often say he lacks lyrical depth. According to Odumodublvck, such claims are born out of pure jealousy rather than honest critique.

Speaking during a recent episode of the Toronto Ada’s Room podcast, the Pity This Boy hitmaker boldly asserted that he has achieved more international recognition than any other Nigerian rapper, despite the chatter about his style or skill.

“In Nigeria, they say that my rap is not good but I’m the most featured rapper by international artists,” he said confidently. “I think it’s a thing of envy because I sing my hooks, my songs are hits and I get more bookings than them.”

Odumodublvck went on to explain that the resentment among his peers often comes from the fact that he’s not just a rapper he’s also a singer who effortlessly blends both worlds.

“The envy is deep especially when they think they are better. But we pay no mind to that. We just continue pushing for those that believe — let them continue to tune in. It’s very unfortunate for the people on the other side because this thing is not going to stop soon,” he added.

The rapper also threw down a challenge to his critics, urging them to back up their claims with results. Instead of merely boasting about lyrical superiority, he said they should prove it by selling more records and pulling bigger crowds.

With his blend of confidence and controversy, Odumodublvck once again reminded the industry why his name stays on everyone’s lips, whether for his chart-topping hits or his unfiltered honesty.
