Odumodublvck fumes over being snubbed by Elon Musk.
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, professionally known as Odumodublvck, shared a memorable but disappointing encounter with Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk.
The hip-hop artist revealed that he reached out to Musk, requesting a free Tesla car as a gesture of appreciation for the success of his song with Blaqbonez, titled ‘Tesla Boy.’
Believing that the hit track had significantly contributed to promoting the Tesla brand in Nigeria, Odumodublvck felt he deserved a Tesla in return.
However, to his dismay, Elon Musk ignored his request, leading to frustration on the part of the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner. Odumodublvck expressed his disappointment with the snub during a recent interview with Baddie the Blogger.
He said, “I reached out to Elon Musk to get a Tesla for me and Blaqbonez, because ‘Tesla Boy’ was a hit. He aired [snubbed] me now. Fool.”

In other news, Odumodublvck has voiced his concerns about the lack of respect for the hip-hop genre and its artists in Nigeria.
In a recent interview with the CTRL Room, he recounted his experiences as a struggling artist when organizers didn’t offer him seats at award events.
The ‘Declan Rice‘ hitmaker also revealed that he once declined his team’s suggestion to collaborate with the afrobeats superstar, Davido, as a means to gain fame. Instead, Odumodublvck chose to align himself with UK grime rappers whose genre better suited his artistic vision.
