You’ll lose if you’re hating on Wizkid – Odumodublvck to colleagues
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has issued a strong caution to fellow artists, advising them against harbouring any dislike or resentment toward award-winning artist Wizkid.
During an interview with Elsie in Toronto, Odumodu, emphasized that disliking Wizkid could negatively impact one’s career and success in the music industry.
He went on to express his respect and admiration for Big Wiz, stating that even if they were to collaborate on a song and Wizkid chose not to promote it on his social media, he would not take offence.
According to Odumodublvck, getting upset over such situations would only harm the individual, and those who focus on negativity rather than their progress stand to lose in the long run.
“There some artists that when you release music with them, they look as if they are doing you a favour.
“I’ve never released music and asked the artist that I featured to post it. I don’t care if you promote it. You’ve done the most important thing by giving me a verse,” he said.
“If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album comes and he doesn’t post about it, I will not be angry. If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose,” Odumodublvck said.
