Nota Served With A Lawsuit, Issues Cocky Apology
Nota, who was served with a lawsuit, apologises disrespectfully. The loss of a loved one can cause emotions to run high, which may result in people saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
AKA “The Supa Mega’s” tragic loss stunned South Africa, and several of the rapper’s colleagues were unable to control their emotions in the wake of the musician’s passing.
One of the people who launched into a diatribe accusing others of plotting the murder of Kiernan Forbes was Nota. Nota posted a letter from Sandile Zungu, the president of Amazulu FC, on Instagram, requesting that he withdraw his accusations.

The music executive issued a cocky apology stating that his prime suspect is the Police Minister. “Apologies… My prime suspect the Minister of Police!” He stated.

Nota was asked in the letter to retract the claims he had made against Sandile Zungu on his Instagram page on February 12.
“On 12 February 2023, I posted certain messages on my “lavidanota” Instagram account (“the Instagram messages”). In the Instagram, I alleged and insinuated that Amazulu Football Club, its President as well as the persons and entities related to them are suspects in a case relating to the killing of well-known musician Kiernan Forbes (“Mr Forbes”) and that they are suspected of being involved in plotting the killing of Forbes. In the Instagram messages, I also alleged Mr Zandile Zungu threatened the lives of Mr Forbes and his friends.” Read the statement.
The letter went on to say that there was no basis for him to accuse Mr Zungu and that the allegations made were false. “There was no valid basis for me to attempt to link Amazulu Football Club, Mr Zungu Sandile Zungu as well as entities and persons associated with them to the unfortunate killing of Mr Forbes. Furthermore, the allegation that Mr Sandile Zungu threatened the lives of Mr Forbes and his friends was false.“
“I hereby retract the Instagram messages and unreservedly apologise to Amazulu Football Club, Mr Sandile Zungu and all the persons and entities related to them for the harm caused by the Instagram messages.“
After CCTV footage of AKA’s death was made public a short while later, many foolishly conjectured that his closest friends were undoubtedly responsible for the murder.
Many people, including Nota’s sister, urged him to keep quiet; yet, he had a sizable following of people who openly agreed with him. Amazulu FC President was among the individuals named by Baloyi on his list of suspects in the murder of AKA.
