‘Pieces’ emphasize the quality of love and delve deeper into the vulnerability of romance. One part that hits deep in the chorus, is when Tay Iwar claims to have “picked up the pieces, instead of judging you for your actions.” It’s the most emotionally exposed moment on the record.
