Odumodublvck claims nobody paved the way for Wizkid or Burna Boy
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, has firmly stated that no musician can claim to have paved the way for artists like Wizkid or Burna Boy.
In response to veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem’s recent claim of paving the way for Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, Odumodublvck dismissed such assertions as attempts to usurp “God’s glory.”
He emphasized that it was the relentless hard work and determination of artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy that propelled them to their current stature in the music industry.
Odumodublvck, also known for his track “Declan Rice,” asserted that while artists can inspire one another, ultimate success comes from divine intervention.
Taking to his social media handle, he wrote: “Everyone is claiming to pave the way, trying to snatch God’s glory. None of you paved the way for anyone. Nobody paved the way for Wizkid or Burna Boy. They hustled. Each of us faces our individual struggles and realities.
“Inspiration? Yes. Paving the way? That’s God. No human being in the history of music has paved the way for Odumodublvck. That’s God. So, tomorrow, let no OG come claiming to have paved the way for me because, bro, you weren’t there during my grind! So, please, stay silent, sir.”
