The 33-year Old Rapper Nipsey Hussle has been shot dead in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.
The rapper has been pronounced dead, and two others are injured, following a shooting in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ reports, Nipsey Hussle was gunned down outside of his clothing store, The Marathon Clothing, in the Hyde Park neighborhood, south of the Crenshaw area.
LAPD reported a shooting at 3:20 p.m. in the area of Slauson Ave. and Crenshaw Blvd., where three people were shot and transported to the hospital.
It was reported that he was shot six times. The LAPD South Bureau Homicide is conducting an investigation to locate the suspect who has only been described as a black male.
Police have said the area of Slauson & Crenshaw can be expected to be impacted by streets closures & heavy traffic for several hours.
Fans of Hussle’s have been gathering at the scene of the crime throughout Sunday to pay their respects.
The rapper, born Ermias Davidson Asghedom, was a father of two and had recently been nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
Just a short time before the shooting, Nipsey tweeted out, “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”
