Popular Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale recently complimented Asake on his performance at the O2 Arena and said that Nigerian musicians were making Ghanaian music look like a “feeding bottle.”
Last night, Sunday (August 20), Nigerian artist Asake performed in front of 20,000 people at London’s famed O2 Arena, a concert he announced approximately 3 months ago and sold out in just a few days!
Shatta Wale, well-known for his prior online exchanges with Nigerian musicians like Burna Boy and Wizkid, congratulated Asake on his achievement in a message on his verified Twitter page on the 21st of August 2023.
He also made a light-hearted comparison between the Ghanaian and Nigerian music industry.
He mockingly likened Ghana music to that of Nigeria, comparing it to a feeding bottle as opposed to a Hennessy bottle, while also praising the pace with which Nigerian musicians are producing their work.
He said in part, ‘Nigerians are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to henessy bottle. Congrats to asake meeenn!!! You guys deh run tooo fast … Fuck’.
PS : Some Ghana man say how do they do it ..
Me: when you stop judging people here like you are angels ,I think we can get the formula😂😂
