Rich Till I Die (RTID)- Kizz Daniel
For Kizz Daniel, 2022 was a year to remember. It was one of the most significant years of his career and gave birth to one of his biggest singles ever, “Buga,” as well as a few outstanding collaborations.
The year 2023 looks to be better as Kizz Daniel released the eagerly awaited record Rich Till I Die (RTID), which was co-produced by Reward Beatz and Blaise Beatz and was accompanied by a suitable music video helmed by the excessively imaginative TG Omori.
The song set a new milestone for Kizz Daniel when it received 1.6 million views in the first 48 hours of its YouTube premiere.
Stand by You- Pheelz
Pheelz has so far succeeded in making the shift from record producer to singer-songwriter and record producer. Since making the career-changing shift, he has had tremendous success, scoring smash songs like Finesse with BNXN (a.k.a. Buju) and Electricity with Davido, a legendary African artist.
To continue the impressive run in the new year, Pheelz released a brand new single titled ‘Stand By You‘. The song is the singer’s first release for 2023 and a prelude to his upcoming EP “Pheelz Good,” which is set for release on February 10th.
Ojemba- Phyno ft Olamide
This combination of Phyno and Olamide has never let fans down since they first started working together at the start of the previous decade. For both rappers, the journey has been incredibly seamless, with Ghost Mode, Dope Money, the Mastekraft-produced Fada Fada, and other incredible collaborations.
For this crucial song named “Ojemba,” Phyno and Olamide, the duo that have each independently constructed musical empires under the titles of YBNL and Penthauze, get together once more. The song, which features Phyno as the lead vocalist, is the rapper’s first release of the year and a sequel to his previous single, “BBO (Bad Bxtches Only).”
Xtofa, a brilliant beatmaker, produced Ojemba.
Bunda- DJ Spinall ft Olamide, Kemuel
When DJ Spinall and Olamide last worked together, the result was the 2017 single “Gimme Love,” a bouncy and lighthearted song produced by Pheelz that left fans eager for more from both performers. After six years, they have returned with a brand-new song called “Bunda,” featuring Kemuel, a rising Afrobeats artist.
Olamide delivering like a Hebrew woman on a feature is one of life’s certainties, right up there with death and taxes. The seasoned rapper keeps up the incredible streak of his last year’s collaborations, while Kemuel took a chance as a rookie and did not hold back.
Ozedikus, Kemuel, and of course Spinall all contributed to the production of Bunda.
Body and Soul- Joeboy
Although Joeboy’s last year was not the finest, it was nonetheless amazing. Cubana, Contour, and Likkle Riddim were added to his catalogue, but he did not have the same level of success as the previous year, when he had bangers like Sip (Alcohol), Focus, and Lonely.
The year 2023, though, looks to be better, and as you can see, Joeboy is off to a fast start.
The song “Body & Soul,” which Joeboy uses to launch his 2023 campaign, demonstrates the hitmaker’s talent for writing love songs that draw on both African and Caribbean rhythms.
The song is off his eagerly awaited, now in production, sophomore album.
Werser- Mr Eazi
The pressure is actually getting werser just as Mr Eazi continuously chanted on this new piece. The African superstar gets the party started this year with a brand-new song called “Werser.”
This time, Mr Eazi makes use of the talents of Mozambican music producer DJ Tarico, who made the upbeat instrumental of the song.
The superstar’s first release of 2023, Weser, marks the start of what already seems to be a fruitful year for him. The song serves as an introduction to his upcoming project, which is currently in the works.
God Abeg- Danny S ft Portable
For the slums of Iju and Sango Ota, Danny S and Portable released a dance medley groove tagged, ‘God Abeg’.
The new song talks about how, in spite of their difficulties, regular people rely on God’s grace to get through the day. The song is the perfect fusion of the different sounds of both artists, showcasing Portable’s laidback flow and Danny S’s distinct street-hop style.
The song’s powerful lyrics deliver a message of resiliency and optimism, and its upbeat tempo and catchy chorus are guaranteed to get listeners moving. The song, which was produced by GHSBeatz, was mixed and mastered by Shocker Beat.
1Da Banton- Call Jehova
Fresh off the success of the previous year (2022) with the release of hit songs like the No Wahala remix featuring Tiwa Savage and Kizz Daniel, the loving Summer Love, and the extravagant Ego, 1da Banton, is in a good mood and wants to rule 2023.
Feel Better- Anonymous Music, Mohbad
The phenomenal street-hop artist Mohbad and Anonymous Music collaborate on the new song “Feel Better.”
The singer just signed a new record deal after parting ways with his previous label, Marlian Records, which led to the new groove.
The artist, whose feud with his former label head, Naira Marley, is the inspiration for the song’s title, describes his relief from the stress it caused him.
Beginning a new chapter in his career, Mohbad captivates listeners with this catchy tune produced by Niphkeys.

Yoga- Asake
Asake is back and determined to dominate 2023 after a stellar 2022 that saw the release of songs like Omo Ope with Olamide and Sungba, Peace Be Unto You (PBUY), and of course, his critically acclaimed first album Mr Money With The Vibe. This time, he releases a brand-new song called “Yoga.”
Asake’s distinctive sound is reflected in the song’s layers of harmonies and silky background voices, which complement his easygoing, passionate, and assured singing style.
His accomplice in crime, Magic Sticks, produces yoga. It is Asake’s first single of 2023 and his first piece of work since the release of his debut studio album. A lavish music video for the song, directed by the usual suspect TG Omori, completes the song’s packaging.
