Nigerian artists one must avoid fighting with on social media.
There are certain Nigerian artists one must avoid fighting with on social media.
Celebrities, whether they be musicians, actors, dancers, writers, sports personalities, or influencers, are frequently viewed as miniature gods because they have developed a devoted fan base over time.
The twist, however, is that there are still those individuals who do not approve of what these so-called superstars do and who do not think twice to drag, troll, or even call them out online, whether as a troll or a colleague.
Some of these public personalities will choose to ignore the drama, while others will choose to block; still, others will choose to do neither; they will instead descend to the offender’s level or even lower in order to express their opinions.
Here are 5 Nigerian artists you should avoid fighting with on social media.

Burna Boy:
He frequently uses the voice of someone who will not hold back. Burna has had his fair share of online confrontations, whether from other artists’ fanbases or other musicians. His social media passwords are frequently changed by his management to avoid him from expressing things that should not be made public.
His disagreements with Wizkid FC and Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale, South African artist, AKA, Reekado Banks, are just a few of his well-known fights.
Seun Kuti
Anyone who cares to listen should know that this is one person you should avoid messing with, either physically or online. Seun Kuti never fails to scold anyone who gets on his bad side at any given chance. His own schooling go beyond music, as he also goes political, tackling any politician that crosses his path.
He is famously remembered for his beef with Wizkid FC over the Grammy.
Simi
Some people might be surprised to see this singer on the list since they have an impression of her from her songs as being sweet and meek. She is not known for looking for controversy, but she will not hold back when advocating for the girl child. Simi is not the musician you want to have a senseless conversation with, especially if you do not have your facts straight.
Davido
Davido has a sizable social media following, making it even more uncomfortable for anyone who chooses to cross him.
Davido will not think twice about dragging anyone he finds unpleasant and a troll. Over the years, Davido has criticised figures from a variety of backgrounds on his social media accounts, but he stunned many fans when he attacked a cousin of his because of political differences.

Wizkid
Despite the fact that Big Wiz rarely replies to trolls or drags on social media these days, his cult-like fanbase is always ready to finish anyone who comes after him.
Regardless of who is involved, Wizkid FC will always stand up for their favourite artist and drag anyone who appears to be after him.
Interestingly, Wizkid used to be very active in retaliating against anyone who crossed him. He was involved in the infamous online argument with Linda Ikeji in 2016, which escalated to the point where the blogger had to report him to the police.
One could also recall his online spats with Davido in 2017 and again in 2020, during the Endsars era, when he chastised Reekado Banks for promoting his song at such a sensitive time.
