A few years ago, gold and silver were the most popular jewellery choices among celebrities. We all know how expensive diamonds are, and most of them couldn’t buy one.
Another factor was that the music industry was not as profitable as it is today. Musicians now make a lot of money, making diamond chains more accessible to them.
A typical diamond chain will set you back between five and ten million Naira. Some of them could cost up to a hundred million Naira.

It’s not a secret that Davido has an appetite for Diamond chains. The artist finds every opportunity to acquire one every 14 working days and is a well-known customer at Popular American Jewellery store, Icebox.
Some of his well-known pieces are the “30BG” pendant, the DMW logo pendant, a pendant made in the shape of a Jersey with the number ‘7’ on it and recently the singer added a Frog Pendant to his collection, which was inspired by Wizkid’s shade about his voice.

Big Wiz has several Diamond Necklaces in his possession but his most well-Known piece is his custom-made Jesus Cuban Chain with a men’s medallion pendant crafted in Jesus’s head, this piece of chain is approximately worth $200,000.

The Self acclaimed African Giant has an iconic Diamond pendant that is made in the shape of a gorilla, which is his trademark and in the middle of it is written “African Giant”
